  8. I'm excited to start concentrations, but at the same time I'm not 100% sure what I am going to do. Are we going to be meeting with you Amy to talk about our concentrations? It's really hard in the beginning to commit to something. Make sure that you choose something that you feel really confident about and know you will be able to make the twelve (i think or something like that) pieces. If you have doubts that you wont be able to come up with that many distinct pieces, then you may want to reconsider. Make sure your concentration is specific enough that you have a clear, concise theme, but still general enough that you can make enough pieces. Good luck!

  9. sweeeeeeet. about time we started our concentrations. I'm not entirely sure what i'm going to do yet, but it will probably end up being something with cups. anyways, empty bowls today was great, now we just need to get all of those bowls cleaned up and fired. and we still need to pring the flyers and start advertising for the actual event!

  10. yeah I'm excited to finally focus on one theme. It will be something related to the Human Body in some way. I can't wait to explore the forms and shapes of life, nature, our organic body shapes.

  18. so i was trimming some super dry bowls today and it looks like alot of the bowls we made for the throwathon are ruined because they're too dry to be trimmed!! major bummer!

  19. Keenan, yep major bummer. I think you are right and we are going to have to encourage people to do some stepping up to make empty bowls happen in December. By the way, thanks to everyone who continues to contribute by trimming those darned bowls!
